Frequently Asked Questions

Everything members and first-timers ask us — grouped, searchable and answered the way we'd answer at the cage.

Getting started

Sign up at reception with photo ID — the process takes about five minutes. Choose a day pass ($15, includes $10 credit) or a paid tier from $9/month. Your card is printed on the spot.
Photo ID, comfortable shoes and nothing else — cards, lockers and ball credit are all handled inside. If you're nervous about the machines, book the beginner masterclass first.
Strictly 18+ across the whole venue, checked at the door. Guests of members follow the same rule — there are no exceptions for accompanied minors.
Yes — spectators are welcome in the izakaya, members' bar and tournament gallery. You still need a day pass or member sign-in to enter the venue.

Membership & points

Your card tracks every session automatically. Silver earns 1×, Gold 1.5×, Platinum 2× — plus double-points Tuesdays for everyone. 1,000 points converts to $12–$18 of club credit depending on tier.
Never. They roll over indefinitely while your membership is active, and there's a 90-day grace period after a lapse if you rejoin.
No — cards are tied to your ID and licence record. Guests get their own day pass and their own balance. Points can't be transferred between members.
At reception or by email — takes two minutes, no retention script. Monthly tiers stop at the next billing date; yearly tiers get a pro-rata refund inside the first 30 days. See refunds for the full policy.

Playing pachinko

Start with a low-denomination classic machine ($0.20–$0.50 balls) and ask any floor host — they'll set you up in five minutes. The basics: turn the dial, aim for the centre pocket, collect what drops.
Payout settings are fixed weekly and published at the cage every Monday — you can check any machine's configuration yourself. Our technician's service log is open to members at reception.
Machines with bigger, less frequent payouts — $1 to $4 per ball, members only. They're the row used for Jackpot Challenge nights. New players should build rhythm on the classics first.
Take your collection box to the cage — balls count automatically and convert to points or prize-floor items. Redemptions over $50 equivalent need the member present with ID.

Bookings & events

Through the events page widget or via reception — pick a suite, time and group size, and a coordinator confirms within the hour. Rates run $140–$320/hr.
Full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours ahead. Inside 24 hours we reschedule free or refund 50% as club credit. No-shows forfeit the booking.
Ticketed events like the gala and NYE are open to members and their signed-in guests. Tournaments require at least a Silver membership because scores are tracked on the leaderboard.
Yes — corporate packages include reserved machines, a host, catering and an optional mini-masterclass for first-timers. Groups of ten or more get 12% off.

The venue

Levels one to three of the entertainment precinct — follow the theatre lobby to the red lantern sign. Crown Perth, Great Eastern Hwy, Burswood WA 6100.
Monday–Thursday 12:00 to 02:00, Friday–Sunday 11:00 to 04:00. The izakaya kitchen closes at 1am; the bar follows the kitchen by thirty minutes.
For members, yes — the P2 multi-storey, any level, 24/7. Validate your ticket at the cage on the way out. Day-pass guests get the same deal for their visit.
Step-free access to all three levels, accessible amenities on each floor, and machine seats that adjust or remove for wheelchair users. Tell reception and a host will help you get set up.

Policies & safety

Session reminders, spend caps and voluntary time-outs on every member card — set at sign-up or adjusted anytime. Our team holds responsible-service accreditation, and support contacts are printed on your card.
Membership records are kept for licence compliance and your points balance — nothing more. The full detail is in our privacy policy, written in plain English.
Yes — unused ball credit refunds back to your card at face value, anytime. Membership refunds follow the 30-day cooling-off rule on our refund policy page.
Be kind to staff and players, no saving machines over 15 minutes, no filming other guests without consent, RSA rules at the bar. The full list is in our terms — they're short on purpose.
