Privacy Policy

How Pachinko Rewards collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information — written to be read by humans, not just lawyers.

Last updated: December 15, 2025

1. Who we are

Pachinko Rewards ("the Club", "we", "us") operates a licensed amusement and rewards venue at Crown Perth, Great Eastern Hwy, Burswood WA 6100. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains how we handle personal information of members, guests and website visitors.

2. What we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Identity details — name, date of birth and photo ID sighted at the door (required under venue licensing for 18+ verification).
  • Contact details — email, phone number and suburb or postcode.
  • Membership data — tier, join date, points balance, session history and redemption records.
  • Booking data — lounge reservations, event registrations, dietary requirements and occasion details.
  • Website data — form submissions, newsletter sign-ups and standard analytics (pages visited, device type, referral source).

We do not collect payment card details — all transactions are processed by our venue payment partner at the point of sale.

3. How we collect it

We collect information directly from you: when you join, book a lounge, enter a tournament, contact us or sign up for the newsletter. Some data is generated automatically by your member card during visits — machine sessions, points earned and redemptions are logged to your account.

Security cameras operate in public areas of the venue for safety and licensing compliance, as disclosed by signage at entry.

4. Why we use it

We use personal information to:

  • Verify age and identity under venue licensing requirements
  • Operate your membership, points balance and tier benefits
  • Process bookings, event registrations and dining requests
  • Respond to enquiries and handle complaints
  • Send service messages (booking confirmations, schedule changes)
  • Send marketing you have consented to — you can opt out anytime
  • Meet legal, licensing and record-keeping obligations

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers — booking systems, email delivery and secure data hosting, all under contractual privacy obligations
  • Venue operators — Crown Perth, where required under our venue licence
  • Regulators and authorities — where required by law or licensing conditions

6. Storage and security

Membership and contact data is stored in Australia on encrypted systems with role-based access — floor staff see what they need for service, not your full record. CCTV footage is retained per licensing requirements. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it.

7. Access, correction and deletion

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request deletion where the law permits. Email [email protected] with "Privacy request" in the subject — we respond within 30 days and do not charge for reasonable requests.

8. Complaints

If you believe we have breached your privacy, contact us first — most issues resolve quickly. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the current version is always on this page with its update date. Questions about this policy: email [email protected], write to the Club at Crown Perth, Great Eastern Hwy, Burswood WA 6100, or ask for the duty manager at reception.
